Generative AI has made significant strides in recent years, leading to applications that were once considered science fiction. Image variations can be created by providing an image and specifying how many variations of the image you would like. The general content of the image will stay the same, but aspects will be adjusted such as where subjects are located or looking, background scene, and colors may change. Azure OpenAI Service may be more beneficial for use-cases that require highly customized generative models, or for exploratory research. In particular, there are several overlapping capabilities between Azure AI Language service and Azure OpenAI Service, such as translation, sentiment analysis, and keyword extraction. The service combines Azure’s enterprise-grade capabilities with OpenAI’s generative AI model capabilities.

Capgemini and Microsoft are already working with a number of clients in this space, including leading organizations in the Consumer Products, Life Sciences and Energy industries, helping them to maximize their AI investments. “Microsoft has arrived at an advantageous position,” said Dan Newman, chief analyst at Futurum Research and CEO of The Futurum Group. “With new AI services, the implementation of ChatGPT [and] a sizeable investment in OpenAI, the company is moving fast — and with likely more announcements next week [at Nvidia’s GTC conference].” But while Nvidia partners with Microsoft, the chip giant also partners with Microsoft’s largest competitors, including AWS and Google, in putting together their respective AI supercomputers.
